How the Post-9/11 GI Bill can help you

Pennco Tech is proud to be a military-friendly school, offering educational assistance to military members, veterans and/or spouses of veterans. The school is happy to help those who’ve served our country to further their education and reach their career dreams.

Thanks to the Post-9/11 GI Bill and MyCAA programs, completing your education can be even easier.  However, many members of our military don’t realize all the financial benefits available to them.

The financial aid department at Pennco Tech can help answer any of your questions about financial aid and military benefits. We encourage you to contact them!  This information may help you find out if you may be eligible:

The Post-9/11 GI Bill
The new Post-9/11 GI Bill went into effect on August 1, 2009 and provides education benefits for service members who’ve served on active duty for 90 or more days since Sept. 10, 2001. The benefits are allocated based on the number of days served on active duty.

You may be able to receive benefits for any approved program offered by a school in the U.S. that is authorized to grant Associate degrees or higher.  The new Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits may include the following:

·         Up to 100 percent tuition and fee coverage
·         Monthly housing stipend
·         Up to $1,000 for books and supplies
·         One-time relocation allowance
·         Option to transfer benefits to family members
